Department achievements

Department has successfully completed 16 years of academic excellence and produced nearly 450 microbiologist, who are serving in various multinational, national and Govt. organizations. With the support of alumni, department is providing employment to the meritorious students. From the inception the pass percentage of students is above 95 in the department. Research is the continuous activity in the department and it has supported in the completion of Ph.D for three of the faculty members and M.Phil., for tow of the faculty members. Department has produced 10 research publications from the year 2008 and more than 25 student projects have been completed by taking the support of departmental laboratory facilities

Students achievements
Students of the department have actively participated and got prizes in the cultural, literal and sports competitions organized by the college and University. More than 300 alumni are working with Industries like Pharmaceutical, Food Processing, Vaccine Production etc. and many of them are working under the cadre of manager and above. More than 10 alumni have completed their doctoral degrees from various Universities.
